THE CLIENT:

GymOne is a fast-growing fitness chain based in Timișoara, Romania, with over 10 years of experience and a strong presence in the local health & wellness market. By 2024, the brand had six operational locations, each offering a wide range of fitness equipment, mega aerobic classes, and personal training services led by top professionals. As the brand expanded and opened new locations, so did the pressure to maintain impeccable hygiene and customer experience standards.

THE CHALLENGE

Cleanliness is a non-negotiable in the fitness industry. At GymOne, overnight cleaning was handled manually between 10 PM and 6 AM across a total area of 4,000 sqm per location ( which included machines, locker rooms, and high-traffic areas). Despite having 4-5 cleaning staff per gym, the team struggled to consistently meet expectations in terms of speed, thoroughness, and quality.

The complexity of surfaces added another layer of difficulty, as parquet floors, thin carpet zones, and tile flooring required different treatment, which resulted in a time-consuming process that still left room for improvement, especially as GymOne scaled.
