ALIANT Business Solutions x Robot Industries

    THE CLIENT:

This project was part of a broader initiative from PHINIA, a global automotive company committed to workforce development, innovation, social responsibility and a deep interest in empowering the future generation, a company that partnered with Colegiul Tehnic “Mihail Sturdza” to create a dual learning system focused on building future-ready skills for careers in technology and manufacturing.

ALIANT Business Solutions (partner of Robot Industries), the selected integration partner for PHINIA’s educational initiative, has been active since 1992. Originally a leader in document management solutions, ALIANT has evolved into a trusted integrator of technologies and services that help businesses drive performance through digital transformation.

    THE CHALLENGE

To prepare students for the evolving demands of the workforce, PHINIA was looking to bridge the gap between education and industry and needed to upgrade its educational facilities with tools that go beyond traditional instruction. The goal was to:

    ●      Increase access to practical, industry-standard technologies

    ●      Equip students with hands-on experience in robotics and automation

    ●      Boost student engagement through hands-on learning and create an engaging learning environment that encourages participation

    ●      Address early skills gaps and support employability from school age

    ●      Preventing school dropout and increasing access to technical education

    ●      Empowering future professionals to navigate Industry 4.0

But, in order to be successful and to do this effectively, they needed Robot Industries’ smart, scalable technology that students could actually interact with.

    THE SOLUTION

Robot Industries teamed up with ALIANT Business Solutions to deliver and deploy two JAKA mini collaborative robots, designed for educational and light-industrial use as an investment in applied learning, career readiness, and community empowerment. These cobots were installed in a fully equipped new "smart lab" robotics classroom.

    Why JAKA MiniCobo?

    ●      Lightweight and easy to program, perfect for beginner learners

    ●      Safe to operate alongside humans and it is ideal for learning environments

    ●      Compact and portable for classroom use

    ●      Industrial-grade performance for real-world skill development

    THE RESULTS

This initiative brought companies and schools closer together, helping students see a future for themselves in technology and innovation. After implementing the cobots, the impact was immediate and visible.

    ●      Hands-on learning became a daily reality. Students now work directly with cutting-edge robotics, gaining practical experience in coding, automation, and real-world technology.

    ●      With access to interactive tools, students developed key technical and soft skills—like adaptability, precision, problem-solving, and collaboration.

    ●      The new smartlab opened its doors to all students, including those from vulnerable backgrounds. It’s a space designed to reduce social exclusion and give everyone an equal chance to grow.

    ●      With a more dynamic, practical education model, students felt more motivated to stay in school and pursue technical careers.

    ●      Most importantly, it planted the seeds of ambition. This is how you show the next generation that their place is not just in school, but in the future of industry.

Through the implementation of JAKA MiniCobo robots, PHINIA and its partners built a pathway for students to enter the world of smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation.

At Robot Industries, we’re proud to be part of a project that proves one thing  👉 The future of work starts in the classroom.
